Ralph Covert is best known as the leader of the rockin’ indie-pop band The Bad Examples and the creator of Ralph’s World. He’s also an award-winning playwright and author.
The Bad Examples released CDs and toured in America and in Europe in the late ‘80’s and through the ‘90’s, to local and international acclaim. A favorite of critics and fans alike, The Bad Examples combined melodic and clever songwriting with energetic and engaging live shows. The HBO series “Six Feet Under” used the band’s signature song “Not Dead Yet” as in a classic episode and Styx covered the song for one of their certified-gold albums. Though the Examples played their last show as a constantly-active band in April 2000, Ralph and the band have reunited regularly, and have been writing and performing new material including releasing an all-new album in 2011, Smash Record.
