Julie Ritchey (Director) is a co-founder of the Filament Theatre Ensemble. She is currently directing Filament's inaugural production, the world premiere of Six Impossible Things. Previously, she has directed A Muse in Love, Address Unknown, Children of Eden, and Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse, as well as assistant directed Fifteen Tramps, Blood Wedding, Saint Joan, Godspell, and Mary Zimmerman's Cymbeline. She has taught all over the place, including the Northlight Theatre Academy, the National High School Institute, Starland Creativity Center, and the Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan. In addition to teaching and directing, Julie (along with fellow Filament co-founder Reggie Gowland) recently wrote a full length children's play, Martin Pebble, which will be workshopped with Filament in the winter. She is a proud member of the American Alliance for Theater and Education, and a graduate of Northwestern University's department of performance studies.

Cristian Libonati (Producer) is proud to be a founding member of the Filament Theatre Ensemble. While attending Northwestern, Christian performed the tittle roles in Candide and Pippin. With the Summer Theatre of New Canaan, a company founded by his parents, he has performed in Cinderalla (Prince), The Sound of Music (Rolf), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Lysander/Flute). At Chicagoland's Marriott Theatre, Christian worked on shows including Shenandoah (Henry) and The Wizard of Oz. Christian has so much love and admiration for his fellow ensemble members. It is all quite remarkable, and it could never have ended up the way it did without the ideas, talent, and inspiration that each and every member of the ensemble brought to this process!

Mark Barna (Producer) is excited and proud to be a co-founder of the Filament Theatre Ensemble. He works for 101 Productions, a theatre management company in New York City currently represented on Broadway by five shows. During the summer of 2007, Mark served as associate producer and company manager for the world premiere production of Eric Whitacre's Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings in Pasadena, CA. Broadway: Avenue Q, High Fidelity. Off-Broadway: In the Heights.  Mark is a 2007 graduate of Northwestern University, where he produced Children of Eden, Address Unknown, A Muse In Love, and The Child of Sand, three of which were directed by Julie Ritchey.  Many profound thanks and good luck to everyone involved with Filament as we embark on this crazy adventure.
