Reggie Gowland is honored to be performing in Filament's inaugural production and is incredibly grateful to have to opportunity to work with all the artists involved. Reggie has been seen in various productions at Northwestern University. Some of his favorite roles include Arviragus in Mary Zimmerman's production of Cymbeline, Woolchester in The Reluctant Dragon, and Scooter in True Genius, as well as Benedick (et al.) in Julie Ritchey's production of A Muse in Love! Reggie has also performed at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise, Idaho, and The Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Reggie also enjoys writing third-person one-paragraph bits of general information about himself. He hopes that you have half as much fun watching the show as he had making it!

Carolyn Faye Kramer was raised by butterflies. She spent most of her childhood in the forest, swinging from tree to tree and munching on crabapples. At the age of 4 and 3 quarters, she showed up on the windowsill of lovely house just outside of Boston. The darling little family inside decided to give her a home. Carolyn is currently a junior at Northwestern University in Chicago where she studies theater and visual arts. Most recently she appeared in The Diary of Anne Frank at the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago. Other theater credits include Machinal (Northwestern University); Mantangler (Devanaughn Theater, Boston); Demonslayers (Suit of Sables Theatre, Boston); Purity (a reading at Soho Repertory Theatre, NYC); Verkuta, Una Carrona and Talking With… (Sarah Lawrence College, New York); The Ugly Duckling, A Piece of My Heart and Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (Newton South High School); Free, Adult, Uncensored (2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival); and The Outfit (National High School Institute, Northwestern University). Her film credits include Sunshine Away (Baker Street Productions) and Blonde Moments (Samsung Fresh Films). This summer she trained with Shakespeare & Company, in Lenox, MA. Carolyn is incredibly thrilled and absolutely delighted to be a part of the Filament Theatre family, and hopes you find joy and inspiration in Six Impossible Things! …LEAP!!!

Laura Mahler has developed PSS (permanent smile syndrome) after joining Filament's ensemble. She grew up in MN with her very Mahler/Brady family. Her first "Big Break"was an ARBY's Curly fry commercial. She has been acting every since. In High School she became the MN State Champion of Storytelling in 2001. Next, she was accepted into DePaul University's Acting Conservatory. During the Day she does Solo Performance work for Historical Perspectivesfor Children, re-enacting the lives of Gabriela Mistral and Laura Ingalls Wilder. She does not know how to stop working. Jack Novak is making his New Canaan debut. He is currently finishing a degree in theatre at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Nicole Ripley is honored to work with such an outrageously creative ensemble. Nicole is a Chicago-based actor, director, and teacher. Most recently she spent 1 1/2 years under a Luce Scholars fellowship in Thailand doing theatre for social justice at the Gabfai Theatre. Nicole is a proud alum of Northwestern University. Omen Sade grew up in Upstate New York where he performed for six summers in the vibrant street theater world of the Sterling Renaissance Faire. Omen graduated this past Spring from Sarah Lawrence College where he studied theater and social justice. His interest in physical theater took him to Arezzo, Italy were he studied the commedia dell’arte, acrobatics, and clowning. In London, he studied Shakespeare at the British American Dramatic Academy. His misadventures have led him to perform in mud, water, snow, and intense summer heat and in a range of productions in and around New York City, from Shakespeare to Tennessee Williams to Fredrico Garcia Lorca. When in Upstate New York he produces and performs with his group “Feckless Momes!”.

Though she never thought she would grow up, Allison Sanchez is a recent graduate of Northwestern University with majors in Theater and English. She is very excited to be a part of the 6 Impossible Things cast and can't wait to journey to Neverland, Oz and Wonderland with you!

Madeline Scheffler is honored and excited to be apart of Filament Theatre Company’s inaugural production. She is currently a junior theatre major at Northwestern University. She has been seen in various productions, including The American Plan, The Orphan Train, The Last Hurrah (a new student written musical) and Time: A Performance in Mime. At Northwestern, she also serves as co-education director for the Purple Crayon Players, a children’s theatre company. In the winter, she will be directing Salt & Pepper, which will then tour to elementary and middle schools in the Evanston area. Madeline loves working with the amazingly talented cast and team of Six Impossible Things, and also loves eating dessert with them! She would like to thank the Filament board for giving her this opportunity, and all of her friends and family for their love and support.
